ABSTRACT: Investigating the role of early childhood education in supporting refugee education is essential for providing equitable educational opportunities for refugee children. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs support the educational needs of refugee children. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in refugee children's academic performance, (2) evaluate the integration of support services in the curriculum, and (3) examine changes in social integration and well-being. A survey design was employed to gather comprehensive data from participants, providing a broad assessment of the topic. A purposive sample of 120 refugee children aged 4-6 years, engaged in early childhood education programs, was selected to ensure relevant experiences. The case study focused on an early childhood education center in Borno State, known for its refugee education initiatives. Findings indicated significant improvements in refugee children's academic performance, the effectiveness of support services, and positive changes in social integration and well-being. The study recommended integrating comprehensive support services into early childhood curricula and providing resources to support refugee children effectively.
